We're experiencing the same issue as jwintucazz. Have reported it to tech support a few times over the past few weeks. It seems odd that you can respond to an email with private pics, but you can't initate it with private pics.

sorry guys... I turned private pic upload off on emails until I am able to make sure it works.

You should be able to attach any private picture that you have to a message. There is an issue right now with some of the mail links. That has been reported to the developer.

It looks like you still can when you reply to an email but not on the first one. Not sure why they changed that.
