I clicked on one of the options just to see whether SLS' program would interrupt the order since I have already paid for lifetime membership, and was given an order page to fill out. While I didn't go on from there, it certainly does look like people could easily make the mistake of paying for membership extension when they don't have to.

Come on, SLS, don't abuse your members this way!

Thanks, SLS Staff, for acknowledging this is happening. I just wonder why, and can't you set up the program so it doesn't pop up on lifetime member's accounts?

If you currently have a Lifetime Membership and have visited the myAccount page recently, you may have noticed that information regarding subscription terms and costs is now being displayed.

This does NOT indicate that a payment of any kind is due for your account and your account is not affected by the display of this information. Your account’s billing status remains unchanged.

Members who do not have Lifetime Memberships should not notice any changes as this information has always been displayed.

This shows up on my account now, too, even though we paid for lifetime membership. What's up with that?
