"Some mail goes back Years and pertains to SLS members who haven't been on SLS in many years, so there's no point to wasting server space keeping them."

As frustrating as my answer might sound, this very topic was discussed in another thread several months ago. According to management, when a member's profile is deleted from the SLS database, all the data associated with their profile (certs, emails, pictures, forum posts, etc.) is also purged from the servers. If they "haven't been on SLS in many years," there is no stored data to waste space.

We've had several email conversations and certs suddenly vanish on us when those members changed names and old-name was deleted, or closed their account when they no longer wanted to be on SLS -- been there, seen it happen, so we know it is does happen.

Sounds like what you are seeing is profile(s) and associated data being pulled from your local cache. Silly question, but have you tried clearing your cache recently?

Good luck, Mr TF3

I've looked and looked and see no means by which we can clean out old (Realllyy OOoolldd) mail in the Sent, Archived, and other folders. Some mail goes back Years and pertains to SLS members who haven't been on SLS in many years, so there's no point to wasting server space keeping them. How are we supposed to clean out old mail??
