Hey, I'm new here and I was wondering how the IM worked. When I view a profile and I see the green "Chat" box by their screen name, does that mean they're in a chat room or is that the IM? And how do I know if I'm showing up as available to chat?

User Details are only visible to members.

You have to turn the IM on for someone to be able to IM you. In the upper left of your screen, you should see either "IM Off" or "IM is On". You can click on that to toggle it on and off.

That is an IM used here internally on SLS. If you are logged in from a computer or machine that supports the IM you should be marked as available.
