I just went in to change it, and I don't see it. I see "United Kingdom" twice, however.

I'm not sure why it is doing this, but after a period of time it will let you switch back to the USA.
VA, I checked and you have the "United States" option now. |

This is technically not a reply, but just to let everyone know that there are more users facing the same issue. I just returned from my trip and now cannot get my profile location back to US. However I do see US in the drop down when I make a search. -F |

We often change our 'home' when we travel, but now we can't get it back to the United States. Does anyone know what happened to the U.S. in the drop down menu? It appears to have vanished.
