Now I try to meet people over a cup of coffee or adrink and yes, early in the evening... If I click with them, I can always get a second cup of coffee lol. If not, I finish it fast and openly tell them that I am not "feeling it" but I always thank them for their time and wish them good luck...

We tend to steer away from "dinner" preferring to meet for just a drink or 2 so we are not committed to several hours if we realize immediately we aren't compatible.....and I don't just mean sexually. We also prefer to meet earlier in the evening so if things don't work out , we aren't enjoying their company we can still go "out" ourselves and have a fun night. Mrs Sav

User Details are only visible to members.	AllUp, we did have one dinner meeting that was useful because it let us see that we did NOT want to spend more time with them. Face to face, they were absolutely nothing like they presented on email or by phone. After all was said and done, we said goodbye after eating and did not linger - or look back.

Im glad in both cases your meeting with other couples went "ok" but we know people who have met other couples who turned out to be rude, pushy, and only wanted to talk about them. Your telling me you would sit 2.5 hours with that? I am just suggesting that they have another option available if they do not have a connection. In our case we are lucky to get out maybe twice a month. There is nothing more nerve racking than to plan an evening with another couple and it be somewhat wasted on a couple that is selfish. We tend to take our time when talking to people. Its a good way to root out those who are a hump and dump mentality. We are not the typical LS couple so lookign for an instant connction is not the most important thing in our adventure.

Since we don't make plans to play that evening with the couple we've met for dinner, all we have committed to is the amount of time we want to remain with them. A couple weeks ago we met a new couple for dinner and spent 4 hours talking to them over the meal, dessert, coffee, etc. We will be seeing them again, I'm sure. This week we met another couple for dinner, conversing over 2 1/2 hours. The spark wasn't there to take it further in the 2nd case, but we did enjoy our time with them. Not a moment was wasted in either case, and the sex we had at home afterward was outstanding.

User Details are only visible to members.	Something to add on here. If you put all your eggs in one basket you may get disappointed. Ill explain. We use to do the typical dinner thing for a first meeting. The bad thing about that is if you meet up with someone that is not to your liking you will be stuck with them all night. We have opted to sometimes meet people at a LS club. Yes it may be a little more expensive but if you have someone that ditches out on you or they do not seem like a good match you will not be chained to them all evening and you can move forward with maybe finding someone else to your liking. Hope this may help.

Photos of you fully dressed, even with faces blurred, will draw much more positive attention than the boobs and butt pics you have now. While scanning the thousands of posts of the SLS Forums, look at the pictures people are using. If one catches your eye, open their profile and see what other poses they provide. You can get some great, creative ideas to use when posing for your own pictures. Good luck.

User Details are only visible to members.	Hi nems, this thread probably belongs in the "finding friends" forum, but since we're here... We second everything TBabe says. Your profile has a lot of good information, but the tag line and the shouting in the first paragraph come across to us as hostile. We're a pretty typical SLS couple (so we think, lol). When we screen profiles we look at the pics first to see if there is any physical attraction. If there are no pics, or just close-ups of butts and boobs, we move on without any further reading. "Don't like", or "don't contact us if" come across to us as negative. You seem like a nice couple, try adding some g-rated whole body pics and reflect a more positive, friendy tone in your profile and you'll have more luck attracting the high quality friends you're looking for.
