Does it LOOK like anyone is finding any of those threads fun? You're the only one posting to them.
My days of the week threads yes I'd agree. Some of my others I'd disagree. People read and use forums differently. Your point is made that these forums are yours and a few others...cool beans. It's kinda weird how that works out but it is what it is. The Tribe has spoken |

But the stupid threads will still be there. :(
The moral of THIS story: quit making them! Honestly, like I said I understand clutter. But it's a public forum and a paid site. What one serious person or persons might find stupid others might find fun to read. The tribe/herd/regular posters mentality sometimes can be stupid too and keep newbies from joining in. Please be honest aren't you being just a little to possessive of the forums? |

So how does one delete a thread or post themselves? I understand clutter and would like to fix the mess I made in the 3 some threads.

Actually it can do with deleting your profile. When a poster deletes their profile, all their posts disappear with it.
It does have more to do with people deleting their post though. Carrie |

I think it is because the OP deleted their account on sls. Myspace is that way and it does make sense way it happens here.
I've been thinking it might be fun to bump some of those thread's and make me own new OP...lol...Starting from that point. |

I agree with you. Sometimes a topic is provocative, and I'm very curious about the content of the O.P.
Although you can usually get the gist of it from the first few replies, sometimes threads veer off in a different direction and it may have been a topic on which you have something a considerable interest, so you feel somewhat frustrated. Also, it makes you wonder if the original poster ever came back to check the comments on the post that he/she started. |
