| According to some experts who appeared on the Dr. Oz show yesterday, it was stated that men, particularly young men in their 20's and 30's, suffer ED from viewing porn excessively (what is considered excessive was not stated). That has never been my experience and I disagree. Also, I was curious as to women who view porn on a regular basis. How does it effect/affect....I can't ever remember which one is right....them. Your thoughts please. |

We don't watch porn anymore, use to whenwe where younger.
We use to read penthouse letters in bed back when we where in our twenties, it's what motivated us to look into swinging. But living it was so much more fun than reading or watching it:) |

neither of us watch porn, other then every now and then a vid we shot of me with him or of me with a SM playmate and him.
Of course at the swing club its on every freaking TV in the place. Drives me nuts, I try to make sure I sit with my back to any of the TV's. PG |

I am happy to see that this topic is sloooowly picking up. I guess this might be considered one of those "taboo" topics as most men want to be viewed as Mandingo or some other kind of stud always geared to perform. Thank you to those who have posted comments.

Cigs, drugs, meds, alcohol, prostate, strees/mental, and luck.....
I think those are the factors or ED and no problems. |

I can only speculate that watching all those “successes” on line with guys only showing their best can’t help but leave images of daunting aspiration in one’s mind. The other theory is too much jerka-jerka.

I've heard that ED is related to using a "death grip" while masturbating. Men tend to hold their dick the same way each time and it stops reacting to other, less intense sensations such as intercourse or fellatio. I would tend to associate porn with masturbation. Thank you for the information Dan Savage.

I'm guessing this is a statistical correlation: Younger men with ED tend to watch more porn than those without the problem.
It could be that there is no causation, however. It may be that you're more likely to watch porn if you can't get sex to happen, for whatever reason. |
