They do inundate my e-mail with stupid stuff that is covered in my profile. I love to write back and tell them to READ MY PROFILE FIRST!! My profile starts with read my profile first! I usually do not hear from them again. LoL!

User Details are only visible to members.	I had to block single males, even though there are many I like to converse with as friends, just due to the outragously rude and stupid e-mails I would get from them. It just finally wore me out and just wasn't woth the stupidity anymore.

User Details are only visible to members.	We state no single males AND block single males but they still seem to get through. Usually by posting a "couples" profile and stating within the profile that they are single. These guys piss me off the most because they know damn well they have been blocked as a single so have just found a way around being blocked. The reason we don't play with single males is not because my man refuses to let me, it is because I have no desire for that. If I did, we'd have an "open" relationship instead of a "swinging" relationship.

User Details are only visible to members.	As a bi male that does not do 1-on-1's with males, I understand why cpls place 'no males' in their profile and even block viewing by single males. I have had the same problem.... Not just on sls, but on yahoo as well... the majority (sorry if this is degrading, but overwhelming statistics support this theory) of men are illiterate and think with only one head... and it ain't the one three feet above their ass. My profiles state 'no single or cheating males', yet I get im's and emails at least 10 times a day from just those I stated I wasn't interested in. They just look at pics. Reading and comprehension goes out the door. Every time I ask if they had read my profile, the answer is 'yes'. Then I post the line of "no single or cheating men" (even have one yahoo profile specifically geared for women that states "No men. No men. NO MEN. (three times, think the might get the hint?)"). Don't kno why, but it seems schools are a waste of time and money each time such 'idiots' are encountered. My sls profile goes further into what I've gotten as responses to my rejection of them. But, I simpythize with couples knowing what kind of males are generally encountered.

As a single male, I not only won't email couples that have a no interest in single males, but I'm also fairly reluctant to email couples that have an interest, unless that's their sole interest. I figure that if I'm online enough and there interested, I'll get spotted soon enough. That's not to say that I don't enjoy looking at their profiles, however. So many interesting people, it's fun to look even if they are not interested in you.

In our experience, those couples who don't play with single males it boils down to something really basic - they believe that there should be something at the party for both of them. If the male of the couple is not bi, then there is nothing there for him, unless he just enjoys seeing his lady with another guy (there are guys who do..and nothing against them if that is their thing). And as far as the female half secretly being hot for two guys working to please her - that's rather easy with another couple..and if the ladies are bi, then it's 3 people working on raising her happy level! It's amazing how often simple PREFERENCE gets labelled as "male -related syndrome"! Kinda like when a someone gets called a racist when they say "no thanks" to people of color.

User Details are only visible to members.	Interesting thread. if a profile shows no interest and STATES no interest in single men, then I don't try to contact that couple. However, I have sometimes sent an email asking if a couple is interested in meeting, even though their profile's "Interest Meter" shows blank (no interest). I have done this because many times, if you read their profile, it states that they have tried MFM and enjoyed it and would be interested in MFM again "with the right guy". I have received positive answers from a good percentage of these couples and we have enjoyed one anothers' company and have met repeatedly. It is all a matter of what clicks or the chemistry of the people involved. I know that many of these couples' profile meter "says" they aren't interested in a single man because the male half of the couple has "male-related syndrome" of one type or another. The female, however, is usually as hot as a bonfire for having two men working like hell to please her!! I find that a polite, straight-forward approach tends to make these couples feel comfortable with me and all three of us can enjoy having fun together. It is especially important that I ask what their rules, fears, likes and dislikes are in a straight-forward manner and treat the lady like a lady. So, I guess the "Interest Meter" on the profile, like the gas gauge on my old Jeep, is not necessarily accurate. You just have to know from experience how far you can go.

User Details are only visible to members.	Yes, a lot of single guys on this and any other site email couples regardless of what their profile states. It seems to be ego-driven, as the ones who ignore stated preferences (in our experience) are the ones who are REALLY impressed with themselves. Although it adds to the confusion, some couples have 'no single men' in their profiles..but do play with single men. They think that doing so cuts down on the amount of email they get from single guys, but still allows them to communicate with those who they ARE interested in.

We have nothing against single males and in fact play with them when we are at a club, but we also realize that we can find (yes, I know this has been mentioned over and over and over again until the mule died) males anytime we want one. As for whether or not single males actually do send emails, I can vouch that before we blocked single males we did actually get emails from them even though we showed we had no interest in single males both by the interest bar and in our profile. As for whether single males belong, we are one of the couples that think there is a place for single males on here just as there is one for single females. Zo.
