User Details are only visible to members.	I have been here for years and played or still playing with some the nice folk I have met. Personally I have asked for no certifications as I know I am real. The first couple I played with, who have been here longer than most, said their ego is in tact and most certifications don't prove you are real or not. They taught me a lot about using discretion and making choices with people in the lifestyle.

We have found from our experience setting up house parties and meet & greets, that the percentage of those with certifications that will accually show up is much higher than those not certified. Also we have had more replies to our e-mails from certified couples than from those with no certifications. It's not written in stone but if you see a paid membership with 4 or more pictures and 3 or more certifications, they are most likely a real couple that is active in the lifestyle to some point. If you see a free membership that is over a year old and has no pictures or certifications, there is a good chance they are fake, won't show up when you set up a meeting or may be cheating on their spouse. Like we said this is not 100% true all the time, but in our experience it it fairly accurate in many cases. R & S

We haven't played with everyone we have certified and vice versa. “ ------------------------------------------ Mesquitecouple69, your right, but that’s why I read the certs also, On the other hand, just because you met them, it doesn’t mean they are true players, they or one of them could even be cheating on each others spouse. How do you know anything about them if you only met them in a club for a few hours, But all things being equal, I think people should just do their own checking and make their own judgment and not listen to others certs, My wife and I met a couple a while back from here, and been with them a few times, then found out she was a escort, way more chance of catching something, and we thought we knew them, so I’m not gonna trust someone else’s certs that I don’t even know. We do our own investigating. I know we got along fine so I thought. we still talk to them. I guess some people don't think about it. But we defiantly certified. more people then certified. us.

"Save certs for those that play" Considering that the many fakes and wannabes in sites such as SLS are a constant source of frustration for many swingers, we agree that certifying couples who are serious about playing is a more useful service to our fellow swingers than certifying a couple just to say that they are "nice". After all, "nice" is in the eye of the beholder, whereas there is a lot less ambiguity on the question of whether a couple plays or not. Having said that, I'll admit that for a couple with a new profile--and therefore no certifications whatsoever--it may be good to have one or two certification early in the game stating that the couple is real (and "nice" too, of course...). Later they can move on to get more "substantive" certifications, if they so choose. There is another practical use for certifications, although this applies more to accepting them than to issuing them. If you are the mutual friend of two couples who don't know each other, but they have both certified you, then they will be able to find out about each other through your profile, and that can be a first step to a good friendship between them. Thus, by accepting certifications (while being reasonably selective at that) one becomes a positive focal point for others to come into contact with each other. Some of the best couples we've met were initially "friends of friends", so we have found this type of networking very valuable. Mr. Content

User Details are only visible to members.	It does say Certify this person as genuine. Dictionary term for Genuine: Real or not fake, Honest or true. I read certifications to see that they are real people not that they play. We would never not meet someone because they don't have a certification but it is nice if they do, then I know we wont be looking for someone who wont show or is not what I have seen in the picture. They should not be given out just because you have chatted online or the phone. They should mean you have meet them in person. I think the point on this "Genuine" thing here is all a certification can tell you is that they are not fake. If someone wants to advertise they play then great but I do not think this should be a requirement.

So some think having to many certifications is a bad thing......Damn and I thought being here on a swingers site people would be more open and not judge people for who they have been with or have met along the way. It does seem alittle silly to think that someone doesnt wanna meet you just because you have some certifications under your belt :-) We have several certifications from couples that we have met only. And we have givin certifications out to people that we have met with no sex involved, simply to show other people that maybe interested that yes this couple is real and we have met them in person. We like to meet all kinds of people and IF we like the person we have met we will certify them, doesnt mean we had sex it just means that we have met them in person. This is a place where people can and should be open about there desires and never be ashamed of the people they have enjoyed sexually or met along the swinging path :-) We will never judge people by what others have said about them only what we think of them when we meet them for ourselves!

User Details are only visible to members.	When we certify a couple it is purely to state that we have met them in person and that they are truely swingers and not wannabees or phonies. No where in our certs do we state whether we played or not. We dont always play but have met some real nice people that might click with someone else who is looking for what the other couple/single might have to offer if they are looking for the real deal. Also we have found that by checking certs, couples that we would like to meet have already met with friends of our and our friends have certified that they are for real and we know we are not wasting our time to at least meet with them.
