That's the thing that gets me, it's like they loose interest between the "we are certainly very interested e-mail, and the next e-mail. There isn't any correspondence between those two points. So still wonder if its one partner saying they are interested, and the other not so much. Or if its a matter of them finding someone they are more interested in. Maybe I'm just over thinking it. You are probably right, just relax, and let it happen.

We have been on polymatchmaker pretty much since it started...

The owners live around here, I dated one of them for a couple of months way, way back...

Then a couple of yahoo sites, I would have to look.

That is not something we are actively pursuing at this time, so I'm not over there very often any more...

I have been on swing sites and polyamory sites for years...

And this is something that comes up constantly...

If I were to say one thing to new people (which you seem to be) is have patience.

Same with books, food on the menu in a restaurant, and pretty much everything else in life.

Okay, so we've been getting a lot of initial interest, even after opening pictures, so I do not think its pics/ us. So after we acknowledge that we are both interested, we try to make small talk, or suggest dinner, or exchanging yahoo ID to chat a bit, and you guessed it....nothing.

So it leaves me wondering; is it us, or our pics, are we too forward by suggesting chat, or dinner and drinks, or the small talk? Is there an etiquette here that I'm missing? What would improve our odds? I approached this kind of thinking it was like dating. But I've quickly figured out it's not.
