okay, now we have cleared a number of newbie hurdles and its time to say gnight - not something you really think about at first and it surprised us that it was a little clumsy - and along those lines - what is the protocol so to speak for followup and contacting another couple afterward? Nobody wants to appear needy or clingy but if there is interest in meeting again, what is a good way of making that interest clear?

User Details are only visible to members.	What A Great Topic! We have been in the lifestyle for over 15 years now and still find this aspect of our relationships to be awkward and unsettling. It is a necessary evil that never seems to get easier. After having met and played with new friends, we tend to let them know verbally that we had a great time, (if that was the case), and then part ways. We later, (usually the next day), we send them an e-mail expressing our thoughts. They usually reply in kind. The problem we have is when we meet and play with someone who we really like and would like to spend more time with them and they agree only to avoid contact with us or always have something else to do. If we meet and play with someone only to find the time wasn't as enjoyable as we hoped, we let them know we enjoyed meeting them but, just don't see a future relationship with them. Not being mean, we simply explain why we think that way. Our experience in this lifestyle has proved most often that one night stands are the predominant relationship. That's cool but, it's always very nice to meet and develop a close friendship with benefits!

User Details are only visible to members.	Our experiences have been out the same. It seems once the play is over, we say goodnight. Either we have sex or go to sleep and then normally within a day or 2 we normally send a text or email and we chat from there. We normally don't play as much as we like...usually about once every couple months between work and kids.

User Details are only visible to members.	Usually we get home around 4am, and just want either sex or sleep. I am always the first one up, and so its usually me that will sit down and email them. Jay then usually does send his own later when he wakes up. Shelly

No different than with vanilla friends. "Hey that was great we need to run, thanks for a lovely evening.'...smooches and hugs and everyone waves as you walk down the driveway. Although the worst, is having friends over that you wish would leave because it's 2 am. Sometimes you just have to blame it on your sitter. "Hey we have to scoot, our sitter has already earned a mortgage check." After a good date, like Annie, we'd send an email the next day saying what a great time we had. Then wait and see what the response was. If we didn't hear anything after a week or so we'd follow-up with another asking if they like to have drinks some time. Then, go with the flow.
