I automatically give my e-mail address to free members so that there is no good reason for them not to respond if they would like to. And I have a separate e-mail address for this kind of communication.

I don't mind giving out our joint email address, but will only do so after we meet the other couple in person and/or establishing a "connection". Two reasons: 1) It's easier than communicating here (I don't know about others, but email here, along with the entire site IMO, is really clunky) and 2) it feels more like the "real world", where we communicate with our vanilla friends and family. If things should go south, most email programs have a blocking feature.

When we were free members, we did not mind the no nude pix. We met people in person at a public place.
There are some people who just want your direct contact info with no good reason When you send msgs via SLS email you can tell if they read them. If people are sincere they could pay for just one month! |

Free members are limited in their messages to three or five a day (I can't remember exactly). If you choose to exchange emails outside SLS website, you may want to set up an email account specifically for that purpose, so your primary email address will still be safe. Free members cannot see nude pictures or private pictures, that could be another reason. In any case, trust your instincts and do not share your information too soon. Good luck! Ms. Explore
