I have never been to a house party.
I'm curious, if I went to house party would I be expected to jump into something or is it just a chance to meet people and talk ? I wouldn't wanna go to someone's party and either feel uncomfortable or make a group of people feel uncomfortable because I declined to participate in something. I don't know what I'm supposed to do at one. Or this something that is discussed before you go one ? I have been invited and declined for lack of knowledge. Also, would a club be along the same lines ? Any input is appreciated. |

Different hosts/groups conduct their parties differently. Some are laid back and slow, some are very fast moving. A house party is pretty much like any other party that you've ever been to with the exception that you can expect to see nakedness and sexual activity. Depending on the 'pace' set by the hosts, it may be in-your-face, or more restrained.
House parties are fun, but can also be intimidating if you're still getting your feet (and other parts of your anatomy) wet. If you have issues with the presence of singles, or soft/full swap, or whatever, address that with your hosts ahead of time. Have fun! :-) JnD |

Each one is a little different, it all depends on how many couples know each other. In our experience when a lot of the other couples know each other it is a lot of fun and more relaxed. I suggest if you attend one start IM with some of the other people invited to attend to get to know them a little ahead of time this way when you meet at the party your more comfortable, only a suggestion.
