Although Swingclubs/parties give you more options & more cpls to meet at one time, we prefer meeting in person, cpl to cpl. Meeting in person with a cpl after chatting it up with them seems to work out better and makes for a more comfortable play time.

We prefer the meet for drinks path as well for most occasions especially if we have chatted a bit online already. Clubs are great for the party atmosphere though.

I've most likely answered this before but am too lazy today to look it up. We prefer swing clubs/meet and greets.

if we meet up with someone outside a club or meet and greet it will be at a bar as opposed to dinner. And one close to the club so if they are a no show or we don't hit it off then we can easily slide away to the club.

We have the best times with the one on one interactions (meeting in person). We love meeting people at meet n greet/parties and they are a great way of meeting alot of people at once. But for us the personal meetings are the way to go especially when you hit it off nothing like losing time with others and spending hours,days with each other.

So true, and someone else pointed out to me that you were probably going to dine anyway so aside meeting someone you can enjoy a meal...

Depends. Each venue has its advantages and disadvantages. If the chemistry is right however, it will work no matter where the initial meeting takes place. IMO

The bar idea works great. You just need a place where you can chat without pressure.

It depends on what they say in their profile and initial emails.

If they say they are looking for sex partners and not that interested in being friends then a club would be the best place.

For us, we want to be friendly first, so a dinner/drinks meet would be the way we want to start. If you can't be friends then sex is just a mechanical act. No fun.

But then we have never been to a club, just heard they were noisy and crowded.

We're more apt to meet in person if we genuinely have an interest to begin with. At clubs with so many people around it's difficult togauge any interest, so we end up meeting later for drinks, etc, anyway.

We've always preferred to meet couples for drinks/dinner where we can talk with no pressure to see if we're all interested in pursuing things further at another time. Meet & Greets can be nice too but they can be cliquish and/or difficult to talk with people at length.
