User Details are only visible to members.	Just our $.02 but to a certain degree this site is self policing. The idea of the lifestyle can be very titillating but the reality is often something entirely different. We can see how people would be turned off by no-shows, rude/crass comments & a general lack of interest; especially if things don't go well early on. But Geiger made a good point, you get out of it what you put into it. This isn't a full-time lifestyle for us and the time spent (even as a pleasant diversion) just isn't worth it... to us. As such we'll log on from time-to-time, chat with friends and post to the forums, but there are also extended periods where we'll simply hide our account.

When I first landed on SLS i did not have much success either but also did not put much effort into, so I must accept some of the blame for my poor results. . I though my area was not good for swinging..........but give it time. Read peoples profile very carefully and if you get a gut feeling or something does not sound right.........go with it. You are always going to run into a few flakes for sure but if you put in the right amount of effort in you will find may wonderful people here. Don't give up but perhaps change your perspective. One of my favorite quotes............do as you have always done, and get what you have always gotten............or something to that nature, :).

User Details are only visible to members.	This happens. We've wondered if (one or both of) the other couple has suddenly lost interest or gotten an aversion to swinging. Another possibility is that a "couple" is really just a man, killing time, flirting and gathering pics for his collection. As with everything in this life, don't take it personally. At all.

User Details are only visible to members.	Fwiw, we haven't been able to actually meet anyone via this site. We have been stood up many times. But we have also met several that we chat with as friends because we are too far apart or schedules too busy to actually meet. That's what keeps us on the site. Our play dates are all with friends we have met outside of SLS.

User Details are only visible to members.	I’m curious to see how many others are experiencing what we are. We keep running into the same scenario. After a few seemingly promising emails the other couple simply vanishes. I almost expect it from free members or those who have no certs but several times members who look very legit and who have sought us out first based on our profile suddenly stop responding to email or worse cancel a meeting at the last minute and are never heard from again. What gives? After an initial flurry of activity after first joining the site we haven’t been able to set up a successful meet in almost a year. Are we doing something wrong?
