TOPIC: Mail question - Blocked free users, can they still get our mails

Quick question for any of you who may know the answer (I've looked around and can't seem to find it)... If we at one time had our profile set to block "free users" but sent mail to free users- would they still get the mail? We had forgotten our profile was locked to free users and had sent messages of interest to a variety of free users we came across... its been over a week and these users have been online on and off throughout and our messages still read as "unread" and "unreplied".. Did they not get to them? Do we need to resend the messages now that we removed the "free user" blockage? So far we have received a few responses- but I believe they are all paid or lifetime members... So either the free members haven't gotten the emails we sent, or every single one of them find us utterly repulsive ;). Thanks in advance to anyone who knows the answer and shares!

User Details are only visible to members.	Firepuma - you are most welcome! And if anyone is a fool here... Again, it is the free member, who seems not to be interested in investing in decent (and that means paid, amongst other things) profile. One invests nothing, one just might get nothing.

User Details are only visible to members.	I really appreciate the response! Thanks for all the information- a lot of that I did not know at all (brand new to this site). The part about free members not being able to see our pictures even after granting access may very well be one of the problems... We have been granting access to free members thinking they can see the private galleries... but they cannot? We probably look like such fools to some people lol.

User Details are only visible to members.	Firepuma, welcome to the fora! From what I know, you can be hidden from free members and still send mail to them, and they would receive it. Here is where it gets tricky: I remember, sometime in the past, a free member had to actually reply to the message FIRST, to be able to view your profile AFTER replying. To me, not very useful, since I would not know, if I am replying to someone I actually might want to meet! Not sure if that still applies, or if free members can simply click on your profile name through the mail you had sent to them, and read your profile BEFORE replying. The reason your mails might be sitting unread and unreplied are endless. One of them could be the fact, that free members might still be required to reply BEFORE being able to view your profile. Like I said, not my thing. Another reason, even if they are able to see you, they will never be able to see any private and personal pictures, even if you grant them access. So, without face pictures, most people will not consider pursuing anything. Don't feel bad - you are not doing anything wrong, perhaps it's free members who should consider converting to a paid profile, to be able to use all of the site's features! Another reason could be, free members can only send 5 messages a day. If they have a few prospects in their inbox, they just might choose someone who has face pictures in public gallery, visible to them. Another reason (lol), free members actually have to open the mail to read it, whereas paid members can preview mail without opening. So, if free member cannot see you, and they don't want you to know they had read the mail, well, maybe they just don't read it, period. Another thing, if you use mail forwarding (not sure if free members can do it, though), and rely on yahoo or gmail or whatever, we've heard our share of stories about missing mail. Still, you would think people would log on here to check sometime, but who knows. Last, but not least, free members tend to be fakes, cheaters, wannabe swingers and such. I myself chose to be hidden from free members, because they had proven to be a general waste of time for me.
