Before we started in the lifestyle we saw the shows on HBO and something about it turned us on. A few twists and turns in our life and we decided to go for it and plunge into it. That was 4 years ago and it , honestly really has been one disappointment after the other. Not meaning to whine, just trying to understand... We've met about 6 couples in that time, and of that, the first one's were outright liars about several things and we called timeout. Then there was the couple who said they were married, but we caught them in that lie as well.(They were, but not to one another.) Not that we really care, but honesty helps us feel more comfortable about a couple... they just went away and stopped writing after a couple of 'it was very fun' e-mail. We went to two clubs, which was where we thought the real action was. Our experience was that we felt shunned by the people who were already there and knew one another. They would close ranks when we came close to a group. One of those couples above wanted to meet there and while we were chatting in the hot tub they just got up and left. We played, but with one another. Could have saved the cash and enjoyed our hottub at home and played loud music here as well. We are honest, our photos show who we are and our profile says a lot about us. We don't own a motorcycle or have tattoos, which we think puts us out of the league of some folks in the lifestyle. So, the basic question is... does this really happen? Do people really meet up and somehow manage to do that over a period of time? Or are we about average and should we expect that maybe once or twice in a year we might meet up with someone real? Lately we are getting e-mail asking us to look at a profile and then we respond interest only to not hear from them ever again. Why write us only to not respond to our interest? Guys.. are you writing with out your partner reading with you? Last weekend we wrote 6 couples who all said in their profile that the will 'always respond even if to say a polite no." or something like that... and they have read them but never responded. Oh sorry, one did respond. (They are on all of the time) "We are very, very busy right now and can't really play. Keep in touch." OK. so why are they on so much? Just wondering. It really didn't look like this on HBO. True we are not models, but is this our fate? Does this really happen or is it just us? Just curious.

User Details are only visible to members.	Well, We are regulars at a club here in south florida. We often take new people with us for the reasons the OP described. We saw an sls event at the club we now frequent and contacted some people that were signed up and just asked them if we could join them at the club with no expectations, just to please introduce us. Now we know everyone. Try that approach.
