In response to what the op said. It seems you are like a lot of couples. Your wife isn't that much into it, but your the male want to meet couple where the wife is into it so you can get laid. My wife is head first deep into the lifestyle, so I'll be damned if we are going to waste our time on a couple where the wife isn't.

At times it seems like it is a virtual pretentious "vanity fair" convention on this site. I guess it goes with the territory. This might help with your search.....if somebody has a profile that says " select, constantly talks about how much they work out, has to tell you how good they look, refers to themselves as the perfect couple or uses the term hwp more than 5 times in there profile"..there is a slight chance they may be a little Royally Stuck On Themselves. We just go ahead and pass on by there profile. It keeps the heartburn down. There are plenty more out there that don't think they are all that.

Its all what you make of it! it could be you are just in a bad area and might have to broaden your search. We have only been in the lifestyle 7 months and have more than we ever imagined. We have met some great friends and awesome playmates. I think we are so fortunate because this area has a plethora of horny people. Lucky us! i can see where some areas might be very hard to get to know and meet people you hit it off just right with.

Eventually though if you look hard enough they will find you. Just dont depend on web sites to be that magic cure all.

I agree weve been on here for years,and no certs no meets just fakes or people acting like their to good to talk to us. And i am a very social guy who talks to everyone. My wife will open up quick if someone just would talk to her. And she is HOT! I dont understand, I thought the ls was full of social down to earth friendly people. I know their are alot of good folks on here but seems to be more butheads. Atleast it seems that way. Thinkn bout hit the delete button. Just dont know.

You just have to be patient and you have to realize that for every real swinger who is open minded and straight up there seems to be a veritable horde of fakes, cheaters, rude people and swappers who want to fuck somebody elses spouse, but don't want to share theirs. Pardner, those folks are NOT what the lifestyle is about. Just be patient, keep looking and you will find people you can fuck and be friends with. Don't let some negative experiences get you down. Certs are great, but don't tell the whole story. I have played with people I met on this site who don't cert. I have played with people from other sites and who I met online who don't cert. Better ways to weed out fakes are- •No pictures. This says worlds. • Claims of how horny they are. Usually when they claim "I need it now" or "Can't get enough" it's just a big fantasy for them. These are the types most likely to pull no shows or dissapare off the face of the internet. • People with impossibly high standards. Are they being choosy or are they trying to ensure nobody touches their mate? •fake photos. SLS is not so bad, but there are other sites where you can see professional porno photos that people have used on their profiles. When the lady in question says she is 5,3 and weighs 175 pounds, she should realize that using Briana Banks photo is a dead giveaway. Ditto with the 165 pound dude using Lee Stone's pictures. Just keep looking and keep an open mind and focus on the personalities of the people you contact and you will find success in this endeavor.

I have noticed a lot more fakes as well. Also a great deal more rude people. Many people do not respond.

I been seeing more and more fakes, the couple where he "has permission" from his wife to swing alone, or the guy the other day who could not produce any pics of his wife but swore they are a couple and she was cool with it.
The best is how I see pics from another site I use that people claim they are thiers.
My girl has asked me to stop being so quick to send our pics, like the couple that has been here since 06' with 0 Certs, and I havn't heard a peep since they got the pics. Bottom line is there are alot of fakes and pic collectors, it's like a box of chocolates, you have to finger a buch to find the good ones, lol.

Gunny...boy, have we been in your shoes, and for the same reasons too! I was up for deployment and wanted her to have some outlet with friends while I was there. We ended up just giving up the idea until I got back and we could handle things together. On the flip side, once we did get things flying straight/level, we've met many wonderful people. We've been in the LS for about 17yrs and wouldn't change a thing. However, it does take a thick skin sometimes with some peoples behavior. The LS just naturally seems to attract cheaters, horny (& clueless) single M's, and assorted other jokes along with the real people. It just takes time and experience to sort the wheat from the chaff. You might want to consider holding off 'til your return and then doing some mutual reconnaissance at your own comfort levels. There really are 'for real'/nice people in the LS and on SLS, they just keep a low profile amidst all of the jokers. Just a suggestion, though. JnD
