sb311, for what it's worth we would NEVER stand you up but we do feel your pain as we actually started another discussion on the lost art of common courtesy (getting stood up, not responding to complimentary e-mails, etc.) But we now see that (sadly) no-one is immune to being stood up! Here I am. Single Female, Just got home while ago from last minute girls night!
Because I might add, after having reserved a Friday night to meet/greet with yet another couple from the inbox who say they would just loooove to meet with me, but today are unable to keep commitment which has been in place for over 2 weeks and on a night to accomodate their preferences. I normally prefer to meet/greet after work Mon- Thur, leaving the weekends free. Perhaps I will benefit from a break in meeting new people and an opportunity to evaluate some things. |
