I just got through finding, editing, and uploading 8 new pictures of me. The oldest of which is from about 4 years ago (I'll attach that one to this post.) I haven't changed that much other than my hair. The hair on top of my head has been shaved bald out to a little longer than where it is now, which is longer than it was in any of my pictures. And on my face, I have gone from a full beard to shaved smooth. I am really not sure how I want to do it now...

I updated the rest of my profile just a little bit to take out some history that most others probably don't want to know about...

I tend to have that problem too...being the one with the camera. I know there is editing available on this site for any pics you might want to crop.

That picture was taken several hours after the zombie picture (which I know is a terrible pic also!) after Halloween at a friend's house while I was flipping through the channels to try to find a Billy Mayes infomercial. Something else you aren't seeing is a friend of my friends who was passed out on the other end of the couch.

As I was looking through all the pictures in my computer it found that it was difficult finding any decent pics of just me without my wife. And in most other cases, I was the one with the camera, so there are pictures of everybody but me!

You're a bit tentative, but it's not a bad profile. I would DEFINITELY take another pic after you have cleaned up the area around the couch. I'm this weird detail person, and if there is a lot of stuff laying around the backgrounds, I pass b/c I figure you're sloppy then. There are a LOT of pics on here w/ dirty laundry in the background, dresser drawers open, etc. Just take a little time and tidy up. I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels that way.

Thanks for all the advice. I just completely redid pretty much all of the profile... Wish it could have been under better terms....

Everyone has a different comfort level regarding pictures on a site like this. You can however show what you are without showing who you are. Some do that better than others. A natural pose with the face turned away or shielded by hair and it would be difficult for your own mother to recognize you...(not implying your mother IS here)

I took out the first few sentences of that paragraph that have to do with that stuff.

I think it is simply unnecessary and you should just remove it. The paragraphs around it are nice. There is no need to tell me that you are self conscious. You may say something such as "we are new to the lifestyle and a little nervous"...something like that. It is expected that you will be nervous. Hell, I am nervous when we meet new couples/singles. It is a natural reaction. But self conscious is completely different from nervous.

I get what you are saying. I assure you she definitely wouldn't do that. Um, can you offer any suggestions on how to reword things?
