Hi. I am new here and I spent considerable time reading through others' profiles before attempting to create my own. I think it is decent but, when I read it, I can't help thinking I'm leaving something out. We would greatly appreciate it if you would give it a look and let us know what you think. Thanks so much!

I did tweak my profile a bit. Considering a full overhaul now, but need to find the time. I think it gives a little better impression now.

There is ~always~ a happy medium! I, Flash, feel that anything penned..for any venue..should display personality and not persona. If waxing poetic is your personality..do it!! Everyone gleans different interpretations of what is written anyway, so let your poet out and wax away!!..lol..Some of us just may interpret it as a breath of fresh air:)

Thank you. I appreciate your reply and definitely see the validity of it. I think I did that mindfully (if not fully intentionally). See, I have a distinct tendency to become wordy - to wax unnecessarily poetic....a born romantic and a wannabe writer :-). I didn't want to give people TOO much to read and, in the efffort, put them off completely.
Maybe I'll go back and re-draft a time or two. There may be a happy medium to be had! Thanks again.
