Our screening process has evolved after several 'not so funny' interactions with men trying to get us to help them get their wives to swing. We find it necessary to have the girls chat by phone before we set up a meeting. Until recently, we have never been stood up (no show) and that was an accident - not intentional - nor have we been faced with the situation friends faced when a couple showed up and the wife thought they were just meeting her husband's business contact - she was clueless as to his involvement on the website. If you have suggestions how we can get an exchange of current identifying photos and a phone exchange with 'friendlier' - less direct language we are totally open to hearing it. But these two terms will not be dropped. We do like the changes - and we are SINCERELY APPRECIATIVE of those here who have helped us. Thank you very much! Mary and Steve

The section at the end about your screening process still bothers me, though. Meeting people isn't usually a mathematical equation so I would prefer to see more friendly terms.

sorry I just responded to the part about clubs because you had said they don't seem to good for the older crowd. Ours has quite an older crowd but you are right the clubs are more like lifestyle bars but with places to play and stay. If you don't like that I can understand and you are right it is to each their own. Works for us because we love to dance and mingle with lots of others. As Gina suggested you might be happier at house parties and that sort of thing. Still an opportunity to meet more people, and in a place where you don't have to watch what you say because of vanilla couples nearby.

take off the "reworked + date" on your tagline...it's distracting. Also, you could lose the parenthesis in your tagline as well...

It CAN just read "Marble cake--WOW, and hot games--" etc. That would certainly create interest initially. And it looks less cluttered.

That's wonderful for you trooperandpirategirl - but for us we have found clubs (all over the world) to be dark, loud, Lifestyle-bars. We just aren't into the bar scene. Sorry!

depends on the club, here the club we go to has a bunch of "older folk" so for us it works well. We like going to the club so much we rarely meet people from emailing here, if I have a week-end night away from work we just head to the club.

We've never had a problem with our own profile, and get more responses than we want, most times. I (Gina) reread it frequently enough and make changes as I see needed. You asked for specifics. Yet, you also seem defensive and try to make excuses as to why no responses, or lack of responses. When you ask for people to review your profile, please be aware that we offer advice in the spirit of helping. When experienced swingers with strong profiles and an excess of responses try to help, please take it as such and don't offer other "reasons" as to why your profile is, as most have noted, hard to read. It doesn't mean that we who are helping are unintelligent or illiterate. Specifics: Why the ' ' around certain words and not " " ? That's distracting to punctuation perfectionists. It's "pique" your interest, not "peak." Don't feel bad; most get that wrong. In your height/weight specs, you are specific to the extreme and leave no margin for error. That's fine. That's your preference, but the focus ends up sounding as if instead of a welcome mat at your door, you'd have a scale. You have very few "I" or "We" statements, especially at first. While lists are fine, cold-sounding, sterile lists are not so welcoming or warm. It instead sounds as if you are a director, speaking more in snippets than in sentences. (ie "Everyone controls his/her participation--no one rushes ahead.") The descriptions of yourselves sound more fluid, calmer. The first section, however, reads a bit like the Gestapo giving orders to troops. It doesn't encourage further reading. If you want your sex play to be staccato, rather than legato, that's fine. For me/us, the preference is more for a symphony of sights, sounds, tastes, touches, and just "sex" than for a coda of percussion. rat a tat rat a tat...that's how it reads at the beginning of your profile.
