Amen to that.....we see and get that all the time....request to view private pics...hell these people should understand they ask us....so why not open their private pics first upon asking, then we will open ours. Also way old posted pics, we go to these events looking for these people and look nothing like the pics posted or the like 10 pics posted when they was younger and the last posted pic hits you...damm they are in rough shape....lol

First of all, ANY picture can be copied with a screen shot so if you don't want there to be any possibility of being recognized, you shouldn't post or send a face pic to anyone. Of course, that applies to yahoo messenger or email as well. If you want to protect yourself as much as possibler here, put your face pics in the personal section then grant access for a limited time only after corresponding with someone who you feel you can trust. Anonymity cannot be guaranteed with any online site so the best thing you can do is screen your contacts as best you can. Of course, the first time you show up to meet an "anonymous" couple and find out they are your next-door neighbors, you may find yourselves laughing at the absurdity of it all. We have questions about the security of facial pictures within SLS....at any of the three levels of galleries. In the areas of "private" and "personal", how secure are they from anyone being able to copy or grab them from this site???

If people, like us, have issues with facial pictures posted in SLS and have a job that could be in jeopardy should they leak out....do they post anything at all???

All of your reasons are fine since they are simply your opinion. Some choose to put face pics in their public area, others keep them private for a variety of reasons. We all do what we think will best represent us and maintain anonymity, if you so desire.

If the club scene works for you, go for it. You would likely get more attention here with pics but maybe you don't need anymore attention than you are already getting. lol

Bottom line, go with what you are comfortable with and HAVE FUN!

Great topic! We are guilty of currently having no pics. A few reasons. We are just exploring this lifestyle and so far think the meet at club Eros thing works pretty well. This way pressure on all parties is low, erotic mood high. It is pretty easy to figure out if you are attracted to somebody. While we do confess to having enjoyed looking at some of the online pics, online 'hookups' just seem complicated to us at this time. We haven't attempted contact etc. Content with the club scene at this time The most pertinent to this discussion is that of discretion. While a shot of a guy's erection and a girl's spread may be fun to look at we really don't think we would chose a 'date' based on that. We find the pics that are everyday sorts with faces and such to be much more appealing in a sense. So is it so that the face pics are in the 'private' galleries for the most part? And another thing, why do couples RARELY have and guy pics? We see boobies and titties but no cock. Don't guys still have cocks when they are in a couple? LOL Look we know since we have no pics up at all we have no room to talk, just looking for opinions. We are starting to get the idea that a 'normal' pic of us with faces blurred or whatever would be a good start. Do you put full facials in private galleries or are their other kinds of facials in the private galleries?

Hi Christie, welcome to the forum! There are many ways to post a picture and avoid being recognized. You can upload some face pics to your private section and you have control of who sees them so you only "open" those pics for people you have communicated with. Same thing with the personal section where you grant permission for days, weeks or months at a time. You can also obscure your face with a "blur" or other methods in the "edit pics" area. I know I do appreciate seeing SOME pics on a profile, even if its a fully dressed shot with the face blotted out. lol It's not to say I won't meet someone who doesn't post a pic but the odds are better that you will attract more attention if you do.

The family pics complete with kids are bad enough, how about the ones with the couple in bed (sometimes with another couple) and the kids' pictures in full view on the nightstand or dresser?

To the OP's point, I 100% agree. Unless you want to meet people who ask, "Where are the people from the profile?", take some new pics with a decent camera.

As lifetime members we approve/disapprove pics. You would not believe some of the crazy shit we have seen LOL. Sometimes I am like omg wtf. The worst though are pics couples attempt to put on a sex site...and they are pics with their children. That blows my mind away.

What's been killing me lately are the pictures taken in front of a mirror using a cell phone. It just screams, "I'm so repugnant and socially awkward that I was unable to entice anybody to hold a camera for me." I find this particularly odd when found with a profile labeled Couple. Really, your spouse or significant other is so technically disinclined that she or he is not able to operate a camera? Add two more wierdness points if the picture was taken in a public washroom.

I'm getting picture pet peeved lately ~ which is odd. LOL! None of the guy doesn't even bother me anymore. If they aren't going to post any, I'm expecting that there's a VERY good reason. No biggy.
