Shell, That's pretty much exactly what we did, when we moved from upstate NY to Reno 6 months ago. We also changed our profile "location" to Reno a couple months before our relocation, and added in a paragraph in the beginning about our coming move. We did that for two reasons.... When we were in NY we were still receiving e-mails from couples looking to meet, and we didn't think it would be fair to them, or us, to meet new playmates knowing that we'd soon be leaving the area. Changing our profile in advance, with a paragraph along the lines of "coming soon and looking forward to making new friends,yada,yada", gave a chance to meet, at least cyber-meet, people ahead of time, without confusing people into thinking we were already here. Of course we'd still get the expected e-mails "hey, let's hook up tonight" from those that didn't bother even to read the first part of our profile, but for the most part it seemed to work for us. PS Good post, it would have been nice to have had some extra advice on this subject 6 months ago,lol

Hey this question is to those of y'all that have moved from one swinging region to another. Did you change your profile at all? I know I am going to put in the top that we are "new to the area but not to the lifestyle" and honestly was not planning on modifying our profile more than I normally would...do you suggest any more?
