"quite a few are former military and not active duty" Then why do they post pics in their uniforms? Wouldn't those be pics then that aren't current? We ran across this some time back and wow, the guy was probably 80 or more pounds heavier and a LOT older! We always cringe a bit when we see a pic, full face, in uniform on here. Just not "prudent" or wise. We understand the attraction, of course, but don't advertise yourself for sexual purposes while wearing the uniform of service to our country. Have respect for what the uniform and your position represented. Is it "fair" that you have to abide by someone else's code of conduct for your life and are not "free" to enjoy a lifestyle others might deem inappropriate conduct? That's not yours (or ours) to decide. You take upon that code when you take on the uniform. There are other occupations, of course, that require a lot of discretion on here...but you can't tell what I do for a living by my pictures, can you? We'll still do ya...uniform or no! G.

I am no longer active duty military. But a couple of problems that could ensue from just USING this site.

1) As stated "inted purpose of the uniform";
2) Conduct unbecoming violation;
3) Jepordize your security clearance;
4) Adultry is against the UCMJ;
5) Possiblity of opening yourself up to blackmail either by forign agents or a pissed off member of your unit or a pissed off spurned lover;
6) This site isn't that private, I promise you the govt could find out the IP address and find your personal information. The NSA is very good at it.

If a military member is active duty or reserves and post pictures in uniform, they will most likely be discharged "for the good of the service". Adultry is a crime under the UCMJ. I'd recommend against posting pics in uniform.

Your marine friend is wrong. Article 15 is NJP (Non Judicial Punishment) therefore Dishonorable discharge cannot be given. The only authority to give Dishonorable discharge is a Court Martial, and in general . The other problem is that most people who do use military uniform on this site also use a pseudonym for a their real name. That would make it difficult to find the real name of the persons using military uniform on this site. Third, the UCMJ would only apply to those that are still active members of the military, quite a few are former military and no longer in active duty.
