Think "discreet".

No matter how enamored you might be with another member, they may not wish for you to broadcast to the world (This is the Internet. Remember?) that you played with them or even met them. If they would like to let others know, then they'll accept certifications from the members they wish to be certified by.

I agree with 2inVT.

The only other exception would be if, for what ever reason, you have 2 profiles. I mention my hubby's handle in mine.

Besides that there is no reason to "name drop".

I think it is bad form as well and pretty tacky.

there is no need to mention names that is what the green checks are designed to do for you.

It's always bad form to mention other people by profile name, whether in this Forum, or especially in your profile. But you said "may have" played with, so apparently there is no certainty there.
