I think people are a little too touchy sometimes. I recently e mailed someone that had asked to "chat" without her s.o. I kindly stated no we weren't interested in speaking two on one which it pretty much explicitly states in our profile. One was also quite a few years out of our age range. Needless to say she got bent because she was part of a couple. Guess she didn't get my point that her travelling alone makes her not exactly part of a couple. Part of this has to be being able to take no graciously. I received and e mail back basically stating how stupid people from NE were. Considering she is 11 years my senior I would have expected a little more maturity in the situation, to top it off had she actually read our profile she would have known we would probably not click.

I'm so with you on this topic! LOL! I had a bi-female e-mail me to ask if I played with women. I politely responded that I didn't and she returned a nasty, judgemental reply insulting me in every way, then blocked me too. I've become soooo tired with judgemental people emailing with their "ever soooo in your face" opinion when I've never emailed them. It's just my opinion, but if people are going to go out on a limb to insult someone, they should have the balls to hear your opinion too! We greatly appreciate all of the responses. We really weren't sure if it was us. Regardless, it was time for a change so we have a new tag line. We won't be overly concerned about political correctness as we move forward. After all, the sole purpose for being here is fun.

In response to the OP: Personally I don't find it to be funny. I work in the medical field, and you have to understand that sometimes people say things when under stress that is mean and rude.....they really are given lee way, because they are just stressed out. For instance, there is a hereditary disease called duchenne's. Lots of guilt on Mom's part, because the X chromosome is dominant. Anyways. So you have hysterical, angry Moms calling, with very short fuses. My point is, the person who said such a rude thing and then blocked you probably has a Mom or Dad recently diagnosed with alzheimers and just went off.
