TOPIC: Is our profile too long and-or involved

I am just wondering if our profile is too long and/or too involved? I hate slim-to-none profiles, so I put a lot of thought and effort into writing ours...hopefully all the details mean there won't be any surprises...and will weed out people who we would not be interested in. Two of the major things I say are that we 1) need to see a face pic (I feel that since I have a face pic on as my default, the least they can do is send one with their first email) and 2) they should use our code word so we know they actually read the profile and are not just responding to pictures. I would say over half don't get the code word OR send a face pic. I don't want to seem too picky, but if people can't get those two simple things right...why do I want to waste my time? So, is the profile too long or involved? Or do you like long profiles (as I do)? If you were to change anything about our profile, what would it be?

User Details are only visible to members.	Very nice profile that states who you are, what you're "about" and simply and effective states preferences, desires and boundaries. Don't worry too much about not posting your male's pics, as a LOT of people on here understand about the need for discretion and privacy and need to have an "unidentifiable" public pic. We leave our face pics for private pics and share them with those we want to get to know better, or whom we already have come to trust with them. You must've taken out the "please be advised" notice! Good! That would've been a negative for us to have seen a sentence starting with those words. Most of us have had a negative experience or so in the lifestyle, we learn from them, and it helps us to say no to any further similar people/experiences. Then we can tweak our own preferences and learn to weed out those people we see as "red flags." Some of that can be stated in a profile, such as "no drama", etc., but without the preliminary warning words or "shouting" in all caps that so many do. Okay, before this gets as long as your profile (and yes, it's divided up nicely so that it reads easily...good for you! I think we could actually use help there in ours!), just want to let you know it's one of the better, more intelligent-sounding profiles, with great pictures and a strong self-realization. And hey, you're gorgeous. Padding or no, you're gorgeous, hope you'll come to find that out about yourself and quit wondering why so many people will find you sexy and attractive! G.

User Details are only visible to members.	Thanks, everyone - sorry I didn't get back right away. You gave some great advice, and I will be revamping our profile this weekend. A lot of the negative-type stuff was left over from some REALLY bad and frustrating experiences we had. Now that things are going better for us, I can take that out...but it took a fresh eye for me to see that--thanks! And we have progressed to more than just a MFM with all attention on me - I will edit that as well. As far as pics of him - due to his job, we have to keep them private (and there are ones in private). But I am guessing from the comments it would be better to at least have an altered photo of him in public so people know there IS a male. I can get that. I can do that. THANKS!!

User Details are only visible to members.	OP, First off I can relate to a long profile (ours is like a fricking novel lol). There are a few things that would stick out to me. Number one, I appreciate your honesty. I appreciate that from jump you say that you are primarily looking for a male for an MFM. We would not play with you because of the comment of "be advised that she will be the focus of attention"....that would be a no go with me. I don't know that you will get many couples to respond because most women would want to be the center of attention as much as you do. I don't think you need to go into the stories of drama couples. Anyone who has been a swinger for more than 6 months knows that most couples have some sort of drama. I think it needs some tweaking, but its pretty good in my opinion. Oh, LILAC. haha Shelly

It is long, but we tend to prefer profiles that have more to say than the BS oneliner cliched profiles; at least you seem genuine. The narrative is easy to read so I wouldn't worry about the length. All in all, if you feel it fits you, I wouldn't worry. There are parts that seem rather negative that could be eliminated or reworded. We prefer upbeat and somewhat unjaded playmates. There are parts where you seem exasperated eg the code word idea and reasons for using it. Perhaps you get way too much mail, but it's easy enough to hit the autoreply or delete buttons. The people that don't read obviously won't fit your requirements and wouldn't you rather know upfront than have to feel like you're leading your playmates with a diagram? Lastly, your pics are nicely done, and although your focus seems to be single men, you also list couples and females; I'd suggest adding a pic of the Mr. and one of you two together, even if cropped for discretionary reasons.
