TOPIC: Is it ok to ask for pix

Aloha all,
We're new to this, so I apologize if my question seems "stupid". When a couple has a profile with no pictures (at all), but we are intrigued by what they have written, is it considered ok to just email and ask to see a pix of them? And then when you actually see their pix and are not attracted to them (or worse yet...KNOW them!), is it customary to write back and just say "no thank you"? Or just not write back at all. Mahalo! |

I guess it's just the typical newbies fear of being rude and offending someone. I mean...it's obvious when you ask for a pic, receive it and say "nope".
