Pictures with other people in them.... good or bad? To be more specific, in the case of a single guy, posting a pic with a girl in it. (like arm around, heads leaned in on each other) I know that a guy can be more appealing to other women when he is with an attractive woman (halo effect) - whether it's admitted or not ;) hehe. And I've seen many profiles that have people that are not part of the profile. Since I am straight, I've seen this in couples and single female profiles, but I would imagine it happens in single guy's profiles as well. I've spent a lifetime avoiding cameras, so I don't have a lot of pics sitting around. I also rarely think about it, nor really have any desire to, snap pics when I'm out doing something. So as a result, the only pics I can really produce are the ones like I have on my profile - just me and a mirror. And i've read several rants railing against that format. So, through more accident than anything else (and it's a long story), I have some pics that are recent with someone I dated briefly (like 4 dates) before she moved (hundreds of miles) away. I could try to crop her out entirely, but it's going to be obvious that that was done. Or I could just censor bar or blur her face/eyes and leave the observer to speculate who she might be or have been. I'm just wondering what the couples/ladies think, or what other guys can relate from experience. The upshot is that these are pics of me outside the house doing things, with other people (a girl, at that). The downside is that people might think that it's a current girlfriend I'm trying to cheat on (which is NOT the case - I don't do that, and I am truly single, as my profile indicates), or that it might/must be some sort of really old/outdated pic. (which it's not) So... what do you think?

User Details are only visible to members.	I'm not a big fan of pics w/ people in them that are not on the profile ~ especially when it's like the ones that you are talking about. If it's play pictures, chances are that the other people knew about the camera and hopefully were asked if they could be posted by the people that have. When it's pictures from normal life, chances are that the person in them that's being hidden has no idea that there are pics here that they are in and they might not be OK w/ it. It's just disrespectful. Next time you're out doing something fun, take your camera and ask a friend to snap a few pictures of you. Or just ask someone to do it next time they are at your house ~ chalk it up to needing them for a dating site or something like that.
