I (female) completely agree with this rant. Profiles with multiple words spelled incorrectly, reads to us as "I didn't care enough to use spell check". Poor grammar tells us that you didn't take the time to read over what you typed. Then there are the profiles where people type in slang or like texting, which tells us you "think" you are cool or are too lazy to type entire words. These are among some of the reasons we send "thank you, but we're not interested" replies. We took time to craft our profile to reflect who we are as a couple. Is it wrong for us to expect the same from others?

wowthis is really a goodpoint about the spelling and grammar and I will say I truly have toagree with VABeach and plus he's also cute and sexy but you all left out another pretty interesting one that i seeall thea time on these prrofiles besuides the bad spelling and the txt speekis when people never use any kind of punctualtion I know I just used some when I uesed apostrophes and thatsanothierthing too about those is that people alwaysuse them to show pluras you know what plurals are don't you it's when there's more than one of something like two tits but people will rite it like two tit's. You mean we're actually supposed to READ things here too?!?!? We thought we were supposed to just look at the pictures, then send initial e-mails saying "Hey, nice tits!" No wonder we aren't getting any replies .....

we also find it annoying when we click on a profile and start reading (I guess that's our first mistake we should just do like most everyone else on this site and just look at the pics) and find words misspelled, poor grammar or even sentences that make no sense whatsoever. for those that aren't bothered by this that's your choice, but for us if we can't carry on a conversation with the people we're with or understand what they're trying to tell us then we're not interested in them.

It is a big turn off for me when I go to a profile and it is in text lingo. Or even worse, someone who just cant spell. I mean, we are adults not teenagers texting to some friends. I look at it as if they are typing(spelling) like teenagers then they probably also act that way. This is an adult website for adults. It doesn't bother my husband as much as it does me, but he also gets annoyed when I correct his grammer too. Haha
