Pixie we've seen your evangelism about certs in a few places and understand that it's probably a formula that works for you so we have no criticism of it. If we're ever looking for single guys, we agree that certs are absolutely key.

That said, for other couples we really couldn't care less about certs. We've been in the lifestyle off and on for about 7 years and have been stood up exactly once for drinks in all that time. We find certs "interesting" only insofar as they tell us the kinds of couples another couple has hung out with, but we've never had trouble sorting out the "real" from the "fake" without certs...

We've been online, on many sites, for a long time so we've learned how to weed out junk profiles. We won't automatically dismiss a profile without certs, but we also won't send face pics or go out of our way to meet people who don't have certs either. Certs are just part of the formula used to determine if we'll meet someone, but those profiles with certs are weighted FAR more than those that aren't. We've certainly heard the debate about certs before. For us, certs are in no way an indication of people we've gotten naughty with - not even close. We're a very sociable couple and will certify anyone we've met and whose company we've enjoyed. We also don't kiss and tell via a cert that we give. Although a bit off subject, our advice (if you want to maximize your time and money on here) is to get a few certs. There are just WAY too many fakes on here and many people will automatically dismiss uncertified profiles, especially SM profiles. Good luck to all! - Mr. Pixie

I absolutely agree with Tablefor3. The written part is great, but probably wouldn’t have opened it due to the default pic alone (first red flag). Once I opened the profile, I immediately went to see if you have certs. You don’t. Next, I went to see how long you’ve been on the site. In your case, you’ve been on almost two years and no certs (second red flag). In the past two months or so, we’ve written first-time certs for around five single guys that we’ve had drinks with. Once we did that, the interest in their profiles spiked. Your only saving grace, other than well written text, is that you are a lifetime member. My initial conclusion is that you are more likely fake than not, but wouldn’t write you off entirely. We agree with Gina’s suggestions. Get some certs! You’re close, but no cigar! LOL Guys, it is SO simple! Just market yourself as a gentleman who is fun, attractive, respectful, genuine, classy, trustworthy, patient, and who doesn’t constantly think about sex. Yes, it’s a sex site, but your audience is women and they are often far more interested in what you have going on between your ears than between your legs. You need to differentiate yourselves from the vast majority of SMs who simply have no clue. Go out for drinks, make some friends, and get some certs!!

I tried to perform a quick change (photo from private to public gallery) however; I couldn't get the photos to switch galleries. So, I uploaded another photo that will replace the current default. - Just waiting for that to be approved.

blackberry, consider the writing of the "source" of the negative comment: the overuse of "u" for "you" is a giveaway.

Don't change a thing. I really liked your profile, and if you read any of my posts in this thread, you'll know that I rarely say that. My favorite line:

The only change I would suggest is adding a few more public pics, and maybe a line or two about the kind of women/couple you're seeking: do you have anything you WON'T like, or any specific preferences.

Hello, I hope everybody is doing well. I had my first negative comment about my profile today: "u must like low class women. why would i think that u ask? because u mentioned u wanted her to reach around to fetch her wine bottle. from the way ur ad goes u must love white trash women."

I always thought my profile was hit or miss. I did not know that was the message I was sending out. So, I ask all of you for help. May I receive some opinions and/or advice.
