I found out about a local lifestyle party in my area through a website. I read all the information and saw they allowed single males in. What I then did was reach out to the organizer and introduce myself and ask questions that I wasn't able to find through the event.
I knew no one there at first. Greeted the person at the door, set my things down and immediately greeted myself to the hostess. She graciously led to the areas/bathrooms and was great to talk to. I then mingled around and got social with some of the individuals. Great conversations.
The thing I kept in mind is that I had no expectations to play. If I get to play, great. If not, at least it was a good party and made some acquaintances. As the night went on, I didnt even bother to go to the playrooms. I just stayed out and mingled.
Late end of the night I did connect with one lady and we agreed to play upstairs.
At the end I made some new friends and connections, which was my main goal.
As a single guy, go in with no expectations and be social. You will increase your chances once people find out more about you and your personality.
Parties and other events are a great opportunity for single males to meet people and be known. No one knows you, so getting out in public and having conversations in person will give you better chances than just sending messages.
