I met an amazing woman, we get along great, we both have quirky personalities and similar senses of humor, but one thing I am trying to learn more about is she feels anxiety that cripples her ability to be verbal and communicate feelings and needs. When she has tried to describe her struggle...what I imagine is like an orchestra and everyone is playing their own song and she feels so overwhelmed she finds it easier to escape or shut down rather than trying to isolate a mental thread of thought.
I was wondering if anyone could relate and perhaps share some advice. Obviously I know I need to try and focus more on her non verbal communication style, I would sincerely love some personal POV about other people's experiences with people that struggle to Express personal thoughts and feelings.
