Four years ago my my contracted breast cancer. Her gyno had her on HRT for a couple of years prior to the cancer. After the multiple surgeries and radiation, her oncologist strongly recommended she take an estrogen suppressant. Naturally, this brought on menopause symptoms to the max. Three years later she finally told the oncologist she was done with the suppressant. Some of her symptoms improved but she still suffers with hot flashes, mood swings, and especially dry vagina. Intercourse causes pain and bleeding. She is using a testosterone cream in her vagina, It hasn't really helped and she is told her testosterone levels are where they should be. I found a product (Equelle) that claims to mimic estrogen without being estrogen. They also claim it does not have any impact on breast or uterine cancers. They have a lot of positive reviews. Anyone tried this product? It sounds like exactly what she needs. any feedback?
