User Details are only visible to members.	back to the "diet" topic: I am finally getting more sleep and my body is sighing with relief and thanking me. My hair looks/feels better and I feel more like moving my body. It was a bad cycle that I needed to stop and start rotating the other way. What works for me is not deeming any food "bad" or "good," because once I do that, I doom myself. I did not gain weight over the holidays bc I did not eat everything that was offered. I ate tastes and small amounts of what I truly enjoyed. I have type II Diabetes, so I HAVE to eat often enough for my blood sugar levels to not spike so much. Now, it's just a matter of portions and what I feel is necessary to not only nourish my body, but to also feel healthy. I want to lost 6 pounds, yes, only 6 pounds, before June 1st. A very reasonable amount. And strengthen my arms, so I know what I have to do. Walking, dancing, just MOVING your body in effective and pleasurable ways will help. Watching portions, feeling satisfied and NOT stuffed (that's one of the worst feelings in the world), looking into labels and what you're putting in your mouth...there is a standard that says "if your grandmother never heard of it, it's probably not food." That does away with most prepackaged meals and boxed stuff, processed stuff. Motivation, and SELF motivation is my worst downfall. Music helps. Having a buddy to help helps. Being accountable helps. Last summer, I weighed 189-190. By November, I was down to 173. I have since put on 3 pounds, which are part of that 6 I will lose before June, hopefully. Could I lose more? Yes. Should I lose more? Probably so. Will I? I don't know, but I do know if it comes off fast, it goes back on, usually. Try to stay off the scale too much, and just go by how you feel, how your clothes fit, etc. Numbers can really play with your mindset, at least they do for me. Good luck, Gina

User Details are only visible to members.	The woman in violations makes sure that the court date is on a day that the officer is available. The officer has to appear if they fight the ticket. 99.9% of the time the people appeal their ticket. Depending on the severity of the offense, they get less or no points and always a higher fine. You got to love the system.

User Details are only visible to members.	Here they don't have to go to court unless the person fights the ticket. Usually the court date is set on the officer's day off so they very rarely show and the ticket gets thrown out. It is one way to get out of a ticket. Carrie

User Details are only visible to members.	Wow! They have to see the accident to give a ticket?! That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Here they have to give a ticket if there is an accident, unless there is no damage (or very little damage). Carrie

User Details are only visible to members.	From the coding I see on the report she was not issued a citation . If the officer did not see the actual accident citations are not issued anymore. I have 30 days to do issue if I want. If I do it what do I get out of it , revenge? If it benefits my case then I might, but I actually feel sorry for her. I am tending to think this woman has it hard. At 64 years old she is still pulling double shifts at a hospital. She was hurt way worse than I was too. When she hit me , my car sent her head on into a triaxle dump truck. If I issue her a ticket, I have to sit with the prosecutor for hours at night court( yes he is cute but still)I really do not like court. I try to stay away as best as I can. I havent seen the prosecutor since the accident to ask what I should do. A lawyer should answer my questions

I understand that she worked long hours and there was no malicious intent. However, the drunk does not maliciously plan on killing people either. Workman's comp policies are a pain in the ass because they are terrified they might pay for anything that is not related to the accident/injury...God forbid they pay for something they don't have to. Medicare is just as bad. To avoid Medicare from providing services that might be workman's comp related, if you have a wc/mva policy they must deny the claim first before Medicare will touch it. So then you have the wc/mva policy bitching because it is not injury related. I'm sorry you are caught up in this mess.

My car insurance is dealing with her car insurance.Supposedly they have to pay for all medical bills PROVIDED that I get approval for any more tests and Dr visits. I am waiting approval on an MRI. In the mean time I have migraines :( I can not sue for pain and suffering from what I have found out so far. I will have to hire a lawyer to be compensated all the days I have lost from work. As of Friday I have no more sick days :/ .

User Details are only visible to members.	Today I took a short ( slow) walk up to the barn and back after dinner. I want to get better and do not want to stiffen up. I figure if I keep moving it is a good thing. Sitting on the couch is not for me. I have been eating very healthy since I have been staying home. Hopefully by the time I get back to work, I will have a better eating habit, and continue it.
