In talking with a friend who is going through a nasty divorce from an abusive soon to be ex-husband...I am surprised how we women do not have words to describe ourselves in a positive way. ALL women are women of worth. Despite our flaws or disagreements...we are all awesome. I would like to have a thread with words of affirmation. A word you think of when you think of women. Positive words we can read perhaps when we need a boost. Or...a phrase, description as you were. We should lift our girls on our shoulders.

Btw, FYI, that right-wing Wheaton bible college in Illinois is not a seven-sisters college just because it has the same name as the Wheaton College in MA. |

My oldest daughter is a graduate of one of the "seven sisters colleges".
When she was there I told her "in life do not compete against men, compete with men. In my opinion, NOW, The National Origization for Women, does little to help women. |
