They told me to count them. Being new to the lifestyle, the numbers were almost the same. The practictitioner asked if we were involved in orgies. I said, yeah, parties, get-togethers... She said, "I didn't know they still had those. Our neighbors used to do that." I like her.

User Details are only visible to members.	This conversation came up in another forum a long time ago. I was lucky in Virginia, as my GYN had a questionaire you had to complete. It asked about sexual orientation, sexual partners (and their sexes), etc. When I completed it, on the first visit, I was escorted into his office and the first words out of his mouth were "so you're a swinger, eh?". From there on, we had a wonderful doctor-patient relationship because I found I could tell him every concern I had, without judgment. When I first came up here to Vermont, I was looking for that same honesty, and boy was I wrong! The first two GYN's I went to (a man and a woman) were almost prudish in their response to me, and needless to say, I didn't go there again. I have one now who doesn't judge, and who respects the fact that I'll always be honest with her. And Woods, you aren't the only one having a problem with the insurance not wanting to pay for periodic testing - J and I have access to free screenings, which we use quite often. S

User Details are only visible to members.	Our doctor passed away last november. I was very concerned about his replacement but it's turned out very well. I like her more than I thought I would and she did not even bat an eye when we said we are not monogamous.

And so, I only see them for things I NEED to see them for. All my routine health care is performed by my internist, and hubby and I have both told her that we're "not necessariliy monogamous". L.

User Details are only visible to members.	I don't really offer information. I just say the yes' when needed and the no's when they don't apply to me. We aren't very active and we don't involve ourselves with gang bangs so I've never had to say an unusually high number that would make me uncomfortable enough to explain myself. Hell, I'm still on two hands total let alone the last six months.

User Details are only visible to members.	Simbaxx... I enjoy it too. I once retorted that I had Clamydia before it was fashionable. The nurse had to remove her mouth from the desk. I was young, but still. It was a dumb response to a funny and true answer. If I shock them, I go to another MD. One MD got his undies in a knot over pot use. I told him we were not suited for each other. It was the 70's I also like the drug use questions or better yet sexual orientation questions. My FORMER drug of choice....more. Sexual orientation.. ambisexual I use both hands of course.. wink. Current MDs are great. Ask me about clean time. Test me for every STD in the book. Monitor my mental health. All great folks. Find health care providers that you can be honest with. Mischief

User Details are only visible to members.	I wouldn't offer the info, but if asked, I would be honest to insure the best care possible. Depends on if going for a pap or if there is a problem. If there is a problem. absolutely honesty is a must, after all, how many of us would fib about weight, drinking, smoking habits, sexual activity, etc. unless there was something going on? I know I would!!!! I like the Army's motto "Don't ask, don't tell", (In certain situations). I think that if its all good, less said the better.....
