I use the men's version of the Schick Quattro....and I'll be darned: the lubricating strip of my new razor head FELL OFF this weekend. {RRRRR!} Yes, I got a few shave bumps! I was SOOOO not happy! I HATE having stubble, and I hate having shave bumps almost as much!

Some of you younger folks may have never seen All in the Family, or reruns. But in one episode, it's Christmas time, and Edith opens her present from Archie Bunker, her husband.
Her eyes open wide and she says, "It's a Lady Gillette!"
The rest of the family seem unimpressed.

For some reason, I just recently understand this.

I do get an occasional waxing, but unfortunately, it seems like I get the stubble before I even get home! Not really worth the money and like PG, my hair grows ridiculously fast. So, Nair for me, and razor for where I'd rather NOT put Nair on. Lol.

Yeah, yeah, I know Nair (or any hair removing cream) is not really supposed to be used on genital areas... So far, so good. No injuries, haha.

I am curious, if I could tolerate all over shaving better after continuous use of a razor for a while. But how long would it take to stop being irritated from the shaving?

I'm sold on lasering; but then again, I'm not the one having it done.

I tried the waxing route. Not a good option for someone who grows hair as fast as I do she would get mad at me for shaving in between my monthly waxing but if I didn't start shaving about 10 days after waxing I would have had a full bush by the months end lol. She suggested laser.

I asked about waxing once, when I went in for another beauty treatment. They said I'd have to let the hairs grow out to at least 1/4", preferably 1/2". That would take me forever, and that defeats the whole purpose for me if I want the hairless look.

Wish I *could* shave down there every day! Would save me the $$$ for the waxing I get every 4 weeks. (But I am sooo much smoother after waxing.)
