usually when your doing wax they say NOT to shave in between. Which is why I don't wax because I would have needed it done weekly. Not sure about the sugaring but I would say most likely they would say no shaving.

During the five weeks between visits, can you shave when the hairs start coming back?

They can sugar the body, but not the face. It exfoliates too, so skin is really soft. I couldn't get in last time, so I got a wax last time which left me sore and swollen for a couple of days. As soon as sugaring is done, so is any discomfort. The only bad thing is that they want me to wait 5 weeks between appointments. It really does look like I have a beaver.

Finally did the sugaring, today and I think I am hooked. They are able to keep going over the same area, until all the hair is gone. Makes you super smooth. I did have to shave but only because I couldn't find my tweezers. There were only single hairs missed so would have been no big deal to tweeze them. Suppose to last longer than waxing. We shall see!

I have been thinking of trying sugaring. Suppose to not be as harsh as waxing and suppose to last longer.

In my experiences, laser does not work on blonde (or colorless) hair at all. I hear they're working on it tho... hopefully they'll come up with something in the soon future! :(

I absolutely hate the time in between waxings too. But at least waxed hairs grown in smoother than shaved hairs. I really try to hold off and wait the 2 weeks, but sometimes it just has to be done. argg.. I absolutely hate nubs and don't even like to touch myself when I have them!

I thought we are supposed to lose hair as we get older... :-/

I tried waxing but at 60 bucks 2x a month minimum it quickly adds up!! And remember you have to grow it out at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch to rewax. So you spend lots of time not being smooth unless you shave in between waxings which my waxer hated when I did.
