I have noticed alot of people don't even pay any attention to the little battle scars we all have.

If it leaves yuou feeling self concious then it will be an issue. Only because if your self concious your not going to be relaxed. So if it bothers you grow your strip back.

I was actually going to post a question about this, but saw there was already a thread, so I'll do it here.

I normally shave everything, but leave a small inch wide strip on my mound. After reading a bit on here and seeing some people prefer it all gone, I figured I would give it a go last night. I haven't had it all off in a few years, but I accidentally messed up my strip, so I just went for the whole thing.

Here's my problem. I noticed when I did this that I now have a stretch mark stretching about 3 inches up starting from my clit area. I was quite upset by this. I am a mom to 3, and this probably happened during the birth of my one year old. I'm ok with it being something that happened during childbirth, but now I am worried that people will find me disgusting if they see it. So should I grow back my strip and not worry about it? What would be worse, having a strip or having a stretch mark there? Also, does anyone else have this "problem"? I've never heard of it happening, but I can see how it could.

I like my crotch shaved, especially before my period. (Less mess that way). However, I hate to do the shaving. Good thing my husband's not only willing, but very skilled at it. We use coochie for the shaving lotion and bikini zone afterwards. Generally try to get the shaving done on a weekly basis. With the coochie and bikini zone there's no bumps or irritiation.

I like a little of both. Probably about 75% of the time I am completely shaved, and I mean completely, labia and anus area. I also apply a hair inhibitor and my hair grows in less and less course and makes it easier to shave. When I go to nude beaches or resorts, if I plan ahead, I'll leave a small landing strip above my pussy, but everything around the labia and the anus is always hair free.

OK I just have to ask......wax your own or have it done for you?? I get my eyebrows done and think that that would hurt like HELL!!! I personally like to have mine all shaved off, but then have to deal with the razor bumps and stuff (YUCK). So any alternatives would be great, just not sure that I could do it myself or that even hubby would want to do it for me if it hurt too bad.

There's really no right and no wrong in this. Most men don't care either way (typical males, lol), and most females like it shaved (note I said "most" in both cases, lol). J would much prefer the hairy look, so I try to stay in the middle, mainly because how HE feels is far more important to me than what everyone else's opinion is - and that's the way it should be for all of us. Our partner's opinions should rank far higher than anyone else's. S

I agree that a shaved private is much much better than a hairy one. To me it looks nicer, its softer, and much more lickable than one full of curlies! My husband doesnt complain either way but I know he prefers it shaved bald as well as I do. BUT--everyone has their own opinion, thats the great thing about living in a FREE country! :)

I'm now halfway between, lol. J loves the unshaven look, and I have had problems (many) in the past when I shaved and/or waxed. So to appease both sides(cause I'm not hurting anyone by doing that) I trim only. I'll trim short, but not stubbly, if we're playing with someone who has an aversion to an overly hairy woman. But it all goes to communication. Some couples will NOT discuss it ahead of time, which I find to be completely against what this lifestyle is about - open communication.

My advice - do what YOU are comfortable with, NOT what someone else tells you THEY think is correct. In the long run, you and your hubby are the only persons you need to answer to. Susan
