Ha, I imagined sugaring was just taking a handful of sugar and scouring away the hairs.

TB,

I will let you know about the grow out time. Just had it done on Wednesday and so far still super smooth.

There are similarities between waxing and sugaring, they are not the same. The sugar waxing is not the same. It is wax, with sugar in it. Sugaring is made of all natural ingredients and is not a wax.

Sugaring is a little painful. It really only was, for me, when she did it to new areas. Once a lot of the hair was gone, from the area, it didn't really hurt. The best part is she didn't use tweezers to pull any hairs out. That was the worse part of waxing for me. There is also suppose to be a chance of, eventually, hair not growing back. They claim it can, eventually, kill the hair follicle.

actually sugaring is also called sugar waxing or Persian waxing. It isn't wax but a mixture made from sugar that is used like wax is. It elipates pretty much the same as wax although does tend to be gentler to the skin.

make your own:

2 units of sugar 1/4 unit of lemon (either fresh or from a bottle, not from concentrate) 1/4 unit of water

Heat to about 118 degrees. Allow to cool. Powder the area with cornstarch or baby powder, apply paste then use muslin to press into the sugar solution, and rip off taking hair with it.

Sugaring and waxing are not the same thing.

That is how I was TB, I would only really be smooth for a few days with waxing. In the recommended 4 weeks between I could grow a full bush if I didn't shave. But shaving between causes issues as well.

I had my armpits, half legs and a Brazilian. She did everything, down there, including the back side. She set me up an appointment, in 4 weeks but said if I need it sooner or later, I can change the appointment.

The paperwork says not to shave but if I need to, I probably will. I will check in, with how long it stays smooth. I would have a little stubble by now, with shaving and I am still very smooth.

lol. I kept the "landing strip" as neat as I could during both pregnancies. Lord knows what it actually looked like, because i couldn't see what I was doing. I gained over 40# both times, and both times, it was almost all belly.
