Oh the days of the sponge. I have a sponge baby who is 15 now. I am so glad my sponge was defective and I have a beautiful, cool love child!

I love the sponge for when I'm having sex with my husband. He can't tell the difference. And I haven't gotten pregnant yet. I love that they are non-hormonal so they don't mess with my mood or libido, and I love that I can put one in and can have sex anytime within the following 24 hrs.

The Seinfeld episode is a classic...Loved it.
We used spnge for quite a while and resulted in our 3rd child ( we wanted 3 anyway, no big deal). Not the most effective form of birth control, but they were convenient. i think they led to more infections. |

Hi:
I've forgotten why they were removed. Manufacturing issues? I don't believe it was infection issues. If I remember correctly, these are about as effective as contraceptive foam. 85%. That was never good enough for me. I'll see if I can't get around to looking up what the problem was. They returned to the market about a year or two ago. M. |
