I do have a bit of information regarding your bones/joints. I work for an orthopedic surgery center/clinic. We have patients that have had weight loss surgery and have developed joint 'aches and pains' etc. Our doctors prescribe glucosamine chondroitin sulfate to these patients in order to boost their joint health. Personal note: I started taking it 4 weeks ago and for the past 2 weeks my chronically weak right ankle and right knee have not given me one bit of trouble. hugs, mary |

Thrills, you brave soul you! You go girl. Although I have never had any type of reconstruction done. I totally understand weight loss (especially rapid weight loss) and what it does to your body. I wish you the best of luck and a very healthy, fast healing process. Please keep us posted on your post-surgery.
