and hair removal, has any one ever had their eyebrows threaded? I did last week. I was told that it did not hurt. Damn, that crap hurt like hell. Was it just me?

Troi,

I am not a fan of braids either (for myself) so for quite some time now I sport a short, neatly shaped natural year round. I have one barber that really does a good job with it. I have to go out of my way a bit but it's worth it.

It's a form of eyebrow "plucking" where they use thread instead of tweezers. They hold the thread with their hands and teeth. It is very interesting how it's done. Very quick. I stopped getting mine waxed because of all the stories I've been hearing. I guess this is a "Middle Eastern" concept?

Troi,

I hear ya, well I guess the pain was worth it then because they do look great. Better than when I got them waxed. Threading has become real popular lately, there's a salon on just about every other block and the place I went to took numbers and stood in line.
