LOL! omg... its just so unfair! really...
the sudden mood swings pretty much go hand in hand with the hot flashes, altho, my night sweats were worse last year than they are now,
...but guess nothing will make sense for a long time.
...so glad you found relief with that!
my obgyn apoligized to my husband for the next 3 years in advance. the poor guy just stared blankly at her... lol!

for you, is/was menopause much worse than peri-menopause? this subject needs its own thread i think. i havent seen one...

Welcome to menopause! The final frontier. I would go to the OBGYN and say to her...why is (fill in the freaking blank) happening? And she would just look at me and say tic. tic. tic. I went on bioidentical HRT about 18 months ago when I started projectile sweating, and I love it. I did a lot of research and asked a lot of friend who are physicians, and made the choice to try it.

Good luck, 19

thank you girls! can't wait to try the suggestions.
i still think its wierd when things happen all of a sudden, but we did start using a silicone gel about a year ago, (which we both LOVE) and i'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. i did do research on it before we started using silicone lubes, but never found anything negative.
guess it doesnt matter...
my prayers at nite now include, "Dear Lord, please don't let me wake up with another new condition of some sort tomorrow, i'm not over yesterday's yet!" lol.

polystyrene condoms are non latex and usually do not trigger allergies in ladies. However that said most condoms are pre-lubed which can cause problems.

Kind I had the same thing happen about 6 months ago my ob/gyn recommended Slippery Stuff. I love it and so far haven't had any issues with it causing the burning and irritation I was getting with other lubes.

Coconut oil is amazing. Get an expensive brand from the health food store. It has no taste or smell and I have never had any sensitivity to it. I hope it helps.

All of a sudden, out of NO where, I have become ridiculously sensitive (possibly allergic) to ANY lubricants and/or lotions. I have been to the obgyn several times in the last months to completely rule out any sort of medical condition, and with experiments, it is definitely only when I come in contact with any of the above. I am so concerned how i am going to survive the 'joys' of peri-menapause that has already begun and am starting to need lubricant more than ever...
does anyone else have sensitivity to alot of products, and if so... have you found anything that might be a possibility to try?
