I was a dancer and girls did things that pissed me right off all the time and even left bruises. Would I have been justified to kick a big knot on their shin? I don't think so. It is all about class folks, just sayin. The whole double standard thing is way out of hand JMO.

That pisses me off. And I have had this done to me as well, C. I had a guy insert his fingers into my vagina in a hot tub because he "misinterpreted" my socializing with flirting. Dumb ass fuck. But...this is what happens when testosterone and alcohol mix at times. To say that someone needs to grow up because she defended herself. Had she been on the street and a man would have grabbed her ass.....are we to be "ladies" then, or can we be women in public? Or are we to be "ladies" only when molested in swing clubs? Fuck that.

Defending oneself during an assault has nothing to do with class. It is a legal right. Maybe you have a problem with reading comprehension. No man or woman has the right to assault someone. The frequency to which this situation happens (at clubs or anywhere else) does not make it any less wrong.

It depends on how off guard I was by said grabber.
If it took me way off guard the knee jerk reaction would be to grab, hold and twist. This is just how I am. If I knew about what was going on, then it would be pretty much verbal. I have been known to put a few people in their place with just words. Unfortunately this has to be done from time to time :( |

blowyourmind... I was completely nude when he grabbed me and had I not reacted like I did he would have tried to do a lot more than touch my ass. The guy had already tried to assault someone else at the club in one of the semi private rooms. If someone puts their hands on me I have ever right to defend myself. Carries reaction is cute and funny in theory but I doubt it would work for someone who was as drunk as the guy I was dealing with.

I had a guy grab my ass at a club once. Then I told the owner who kicked the moron out. If not putting up with shitty behavior makes me a "Drama Queen" then so be it.
