Got myself of virgin poster! Another really awesome lubricant is "Astroglide". It is water based and feels like the real thing - wet wise. I just love it, when I need it. LOL

In my case i went through menopause young, early 40s. Although i did experience some dryness during, everything seems ro be back to normal. During I used herbal remedies to treat the symptoms. It's best to consult your doctor about any herbs you may take. When you are finished life is wonderful no more cycles no more birthcontrol. My sympathies to your sigificant other.

Sounds stressful. Kind of like when a guy is trying to get an erection. If you use lube you won't be cheating him out of anything. Hmm kind of like those of us that can't/don't squirt. Could you imagine having a guy trying to make you squirt? I think as long as you both enjoy yourselves you don't need evidence. |

Immediate relief: Try Replens or another long acting lube.
You can also use a vaginal applicator to inject some K-Y type stuff. Anything is better than raw meat...anything. I also suggest getting a young girl friend. Her cycling is delaying my decent. Mischief (1/2 way there) |

PT-141 is still in the FDA investigational trial stage. It is a male erectile dysfunction drug that will apparantly have off-label use for women in the future. If approved, it will require a medical prescription here in the States. Meanwhile, as you are peri-menopausal, try going to a physician who specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement. It will only take a few weeks until your natural lubrication returns!

Welcome Pepper, and unfortunately, you will only be cheating yourself if you don't lubricate if you are experiencing dryness due to pre-menopause. I began (and luckily have only experienced dryness on a few occasions), but would prefer lubrication to raw meat, that is the sad reality of it.
