Well, since I've been spayed since I was 24, I'm not a great source. However, I concur I would not rely on condoms only.
But what the heck...proud mother of a diaphram baby, a condoms and foam baby and an oops we didn't check when we clamped your tubes and then you had that car accident baby. The other two were intentional and the pill gave me blood clots shortly after I had a miscarriage while on them. LW *just call me the brood mare from a previous life* |

Personally, I would get a new Gyno. Spermicide and condoms are your least effect birth control method.

I would and do just use spermicide with a condom (not spermicidal condoms). My gyn said a condom and spermicide is as safe as you can get, almost 100%.

If you are not wanting to have children, then I would say that you need a backup birth control.
